Other than "The Walk" (which has yet to appear, as of the time that I write this) this is one of the few comics--of my original set--that had something in the background. I don't know why I decided to draw a lamp, but it just felt kind of natural.
Yes, I realize that I left out a lamp in the last panel. That was somewhat intentional. That is, I knew before I drew the last panel that there would be no lamp. Why? Well, I was getting lazy and didn't want to have to draw it again, and I was using my artistic licence to show that the last panel was taken from a different angle, perhaps from a little closer, thus excluding the lamp from the picture.
It was kind of an ugly lamp anyway.
